  1. Wow, that's beautiful! The colors, the shape and the frame all work together perfectly. They'll be proud of that. I would.
  2. The walls you can't see are pretty much taken up with shelves, cabinets and a big roll up door, so I'm running out of room fast. My goal is to get at least 100 portraits hung before I run out of room. I think I'm getting close to 80 so maybe I'll make it.
  3. I understand. I was in a shop yesterday that was around 40 x 40 with a loft sitting area and a bathroom, and felt the same way. I feel blessed to have the area that I have because a few years ago my shop was my carport with only two walls. I'm content.
  4. It’s just 16 x 20 but it’s more than I ever thought I’d have. My happy place.
  5. I did a panoramic photo of part of my shop. Modern technology is amazing.
  6. It wouldn’t be the first time I mounted one backwards.
  7. Thanks. I’ve probably watched it a dozen times. One of those, “make you want to be a better person” movies.
  8. Jimmy Stewart as George Bailey in It's A Wonderful Life. I like this moment of the movie. George is describing the big suitcase he wants for all the exciting travels and adventures he plans to have in his life, what he believes it will take to have a good life. If you know the movie, of course his life doesn't turn out like he planed and it takes a crisis for him to realize his life is wonderful as it is. I need that reminder from time to time. If you'd be interested in the pattern let me know.
  9. All three are great! Perfect choice of colors for all three.
  10. I haven’t seen it since I was a teenager. I just bought the dvd so I can share it with my 36 year old son.
  11. I just reread your post. The Christmas in July driveway market at your daughters sounds fun. Is it a neighborhood thing?
  12. Great job!
  13. Great job! The bells make me smile!
  14. Perfection!
  15. Just now seeing these John. Love ‘em!!!
  16. Nice job on both. I pick bachelor #1.
  17. That’s some great looking work John! Glad you had a good day. The money’s great but the best part is getting to spend that kind of time with your daughter. Good on ya.
  18. Beautiful work Dave!
  19. Thank you very much! Your compliment means more than you know. And yes, I was quite honored to have Jim ask for a copy. He's a very talented, very generous man!
  20. Bruce Dern as Asa "Long Hair" Watts from the 1972 John Wayne film, "The Cowboys." One of the meanest, back shooting baddies in the West. Love to hate him.
  21. Thank you very much Jim! I'm more than happy to share the pattern. I'm not sure what happened to the font. I converted the file from svg to png and it changed the font. I know very little about such things. I attached the svg file also which has the correct font. Let me know if this doesn't work. The Guns Of Will Sonnet.svg
  22. Yes, it’s Audrey. Gorgeous lady. Hope to finish tomorrow.
  23. Thank you! I enjoy it.
  24. Recognize these eyes? I’ll give you a hint. They’re not mine. I used a watercolor painting image from Google that was nearly scrollable as is for a pattern “For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.” Audrey Hepburn
