    I think it's great! I definitely recognize the dog and I like patterns that leave something to the imagination. Something I haven't mastered for sure. As far as the background goes I don't think there is a right or wrong. This is art, there will always be different perspectives and opinions. For me, the background really adds to the piece as a whole. It adds depth and makes it more than a tracing of a dog. For others it may take away from it. Always remember, Van Gogh sold 2 paintings and made enough money to maybe buy a couch. Nice job!

    Very cool. If leaving out an apostrophe is all it takes to be an idiot, sign me up. I saw a post the other day where an elementary student asked his teacher, "Does this word need a flying comma?" She said apostrophes will always be flying commas for her now.

    Great project. I'm not always a fan of adding color but you did an excellent job and it really enhanced this piece. Plus the frame and black matting make it all pop! Excellent!

    2nd project or 200th that's a cool piece. Great job on the painting, tread work on the tires, and I love the finish of the bead board you mounted it on. Very fun project!

    Nice looking projects. Since the silhouettes are western/horse projects, I think the rough grain works.
