    Tropical Octopus Portraits Scott McKenna design was bought off of Etsy I stack cutting 3 from 1/4 inch material from @loweshomeimprovement on my @rikon_powertools scroll saw with Number 5 ultra reverse tooth blades. The frames were made from upcycled 2X4s on my Rikon Table Saw and @craftsman router table The blue framed portrait I made for some dear family friends, I used my @toocaa_official 20w laser to add some sand dollar badges For the Half Lap frame, that was my Mom's @turtle.dove.ceramics Christmas Gift and I wanted to go the extra mile on the frame, after making both frames, I spray painted the blue on with spray paints and stained everything else with @minwaxusa wood stains Everything was assembled with a combo of @thegorillagluecompany and medium grade CA Glue and Activator from @klingsporswoodworkingshop I then finished both portraits with several coats of @rustoleum clear gloss and after it was dry, I wrapped twine around the corners of the half Lap frame for a nautical flare.     Hey Crew! In our first Christmas Scroll Saw Project Video of 2025, we cut out a beautifully detailed Christmas Fretwork Cross celebrating the true meaning of the Christmas Season and Holiday. The design is from Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts Magazine (Fall 2009 Issue 36) by Fox Chapel Publishing. I cut the Cross from 1/4 inch material, and the backer board is thin construction grade plywood. Hope you all like the video! #ArtisanPirate

I really wanted to show my appreciation to Rikon and I felt that this 3D Word Art would be a great way to do it, and show off what the Rikon Scroll Saw can make! Klingspor Always goes above and beyond, and I wanted to show my appreciation to a great company.
