  3. Pattern used off of Animal patterns from the library pattern by Grampa , used a #5 spiral blade on 1/4 inch BB ply and black photo mount board just need to stain and frame

  5. Thank you ,I found the pattern on here I'm not sure if it is a new one or not but it's a great pattern!! I think you are right about framing it , what would you suggest frame wise rustic ? Home made or get a frame already made ? I am still relatively new to scroll sawing and have a lot to learn about finishing off projects I haven't made frames before any recommendations / tips would be appreciated cheers Dan

  16. Thanks Rockytime,it is A4 size and it's done in 1/4 inch thick Baltic birch plywood.I maybe should have gone a bit thicker as some parts especially round the eyes were extremely fragile a few heart in mouth moments,cheers Dan

Thanks amazingkevin it was very fragile in places ,especially round the eyes I must admit there were a few moments I thought it was going to break especially when you get a blade snap on you while your going round the eye ,still makes me jump every time lol,I am pleased with how it came out though.cheers Dan.
  20. Finally finished the Big Cat 342 cuts later,used a #1 ,#3 spiral blade 1/4 inch Baltic birch think it turned out well
