  1. my PS wood is a full 1 inch stroke.
  2. Hey thats my buddy at my favorite saw in my little part of the garage. Im gonna get a ring pop and marry that blue saw. That thing has close to 3500 hours on it to date now. Got it new early 2018 and put most of the hours on it in 2018 and 2019. I feel homesick for this saw I need to go get it. I have more saws now and back then I had helpful cutters to help get me on my feet. “Literally” That was a great day! And I also keep it very clean. Thats just how it gets after hours of fast cutting. It always gets a good vacuum and lube at the end of the day. I made a bunch of large 3 foot animal skeleton puzzles that day.
  3. I can agree. Its amazing what an extra 1/8 stroke can do though. And you use more blade. Think of it like getting your money worth out of your blades and electricity. Thats why I started this topic. To show diversity and how hard it is to meet everyones needs in one saw. I love the responses to this. So many great ideas. I feel like a saw that leaves zero dust behind, nearly silently is a big thing.
  4. Hi guys! I am moving from Virginia to Maine. Advanced Machinery is just right off the highway on my way. Depending on the weather, timing and traffic I wanna go visit and test some toys and their accessories example. The poly cut three with my foredome dust extractor. I will have my two service dogs with me in a uhaul and therefore The conditions have to be right. My animals cannot suffer. If I am able to visit what videos pictures etc would everyone like to see? If they let me. Any specifics?
  5. Wanna see anything in particular?
  6. Have you considered maybe the new wen?
  7. I used to want one of those but they stopped selling in the USA and couldn’t find one. I am a huge Makita fan. I think you would enjoy it. Its smaller and I wanted it for portable stuff.
  8. The motor is designed for harder longer operation and it has more torque cuts faster because of the torque and length of stroke and less failures. In regards to electronics you should never have a problem with it. I wanna try one when i go through Delaware its on my way and I packed my foredom at the back. I wanna see how well the dust system works and I thought about taking a video and putting it on here for everyone to see. Could be fun.
  9. I guarantee my blue ps wood machine will eat that hegner in every category but one. It has a faster top speed.
  10. I agree but with that size of stroke you want less weight at the heads.
  11. Polymax or polycut 3 is Hegners mean machine. The only machine that can beat or match it is a Scrollmate because it matches the torque and has slightly larger stroke. The hegner polycut is $3400 doll hairs. The blade change is not as easy as any of the other high end saws but durability is there Changing belt speeds sucks its not as efficient or as easy as a scroll mate which is my profile picture But if your into cutting puzzles all day and want a machine you can lube up that is made to run 12 plus hours a day without the motor ever getting warm this is the machine for you
  12. Yeah thats probably exactly why. Thank you. If they drilled into the base at all I will not get it. I don’t purchase modified saws.
  13. Cam someone send me the link? I start moving northeast tomorrow
  14. The brushless shop vacs are reasonably quiet. They have models that run reasonably quiet. The lowes model that is a little square black one is really nice. And it doesn't tip over. Its made to be pulled by the hose.

  16. Its okay. Just watch how they are made and hand painted. Thought maybe people would like to see it. I can also put a Hegner manual link here incase people are curious as to how Hegner says to use their saws and what can be adjusted like the stroke length. And it has good pictures too.
  17. Works awesome!
  18. Look at the bright side. Really the only thing to change is the dust blower free from the upper arm and that plastic dust extraction on the bottom. Lol About a week back i actually found a paint code for the hegners.
  19. Hegners really are as nice operating as they say when your cutting. I have concerns about paint falling off and I don’t like the clamp systems a lot because certain blade clamps only hold certain blades. But. Hell of a machine. Honestly. Most of the saws out there are awesome.
  20. They should change to AkzoNobel powder coat systems over there.
  21. How is the paint holding up on your Hegners? And the stand?
  22. I found a way to upgrade the dust collection on those so they don’t suck your work down and its much more quiet. Once I get everything on mass producing them to sell Ill let you guys know. But one thing on those saws is awesome with the dust collection. Compound cutting it sucks the dust from top and bottom when you cut. I use a foredom dust collector I got from Seyco and there is also a remote switch you can stick on the leg of the ex models. Its very quiet and even with a cyclone system on low it hs plenty of quiet power. It is pricey though. Worth it.
