  3. looks great!!!
  4. great cutting on the bike!! I havent rode on one since the 70s when the guy i was dateing took me for a ride and he dumped me in the field...i think it was some kind of off road thing since then i stay on 4 wheels!!! humm dont know if that qulitfys as motorcycle or not...im ust glad he hadnt had time to pick up a lot of speed!!! OUCH!!! lol
  5. simply stunning!! you did a wounderful job on that peace!!
  6. lol well i didnt make the pattern alone...my girl friend and i worked on it together. i knew what dragon i wanted to use but it was to small and i couldnt enlarge it big enough on the scanner/printer. so she drew it for me and then she put the rectangle under it so we could put the numbers on it. i cant draw worth a darn so i need a picture i can work with , frountly i do several different kinds of crafts and all the pattern books have picturees of some kind or other in them and i can take the pictures and put them together to make a different pattern. im glad you like it. the stuff i make isnt nearly as challangeing as the stuff you guys make but i always have a new pattern in mindand am working on it while im still doing the project on the saw lol so i perfer things that dont take to alfuly long to make lol and when i do do a more challangeing project it takes me awhile as i will odo it for so long then set it aside and make a few other things then go back to the challangeing project off an on between things until its done lol it seems my mind is never just on what ever project or craft im doing....as im always thinking about what else i want to make. lol
  7. Welll the dragon house sign is pretty much finished now. Its not as challageing or complex as the stuff you guys make but I like it lol and it will I think look nice once we are able to hang it up outside.... Im not sure what kind or size the wood is. I think its an old piece of plywood used to make the flooring of a shead. Its thiner then 3/4 inch but thicker then the 1/4 inch wood. I have no idea what size blades I used either there all just jumbled up in a container and I just grabed one as I needed to but they were not the really small blades. I used several different dremil cutting tools to carve out the details. WARNING there are a LOT of pictures!!! This first picture is after I put the weather proffing on it. The next 2 show the white gold and sliver painted parts. I ws a little concerned at this point that the gold and sliver wouldnt show up very well. The next 2 are with the light green was put on. then with both shades of green. And then the numbers sign beinging gllued under the dragon. The last 2 are after the expocy resion was put on on one side spike took the last 2 pictures. I dont know why the one picture looks like the expoy resin bubbled up, I went in and checked it out and thank God its still nice with no bubbles!! It will take a couple of days to dry and then I will turn it over and with Gods help put expoxy resin on the other side with hopefuly no bubbles!!! Spike will eventually hang it up outside by the mail box on a hanging plant rod but that will have to wait until after the snow melts and the ground is a bit softer. tomarrow i can start transfering some patterns to wood for projects for the stock and give away boxes.. I relized after I could no long scroll or do my other crafts for so long that I didnt realy have anything Id made for me! So i spend some time here and there making some things for me now lol
  8. Thank you frank, i'll have a look at the lowes website. I like to make toys for kids and if the poplar is stronger i may see if spike can pick me up some. iv been going through my patterns and pattern books lately now that im able to get in to the wood shop again... I lost a year due to broken ribs and a punctured lung and then another year to the constent migrines and headaces.... its soo good to be able to do my crafts again!!! Poor spike I have crafts in progress all over the house!! lol he dosnt know it yet but the emboriday machine will be comming into the livingroom in a week or so.....iv seen so many things to emborder!! lol just have to find a handy place to put my crochetig when im not working on it in the eveings so i have a place to put the emboridy machine lol there just arent enough hours in a day for me to do every thing i want to do!! lol I know spike is right id get a lot more things done in a reasonaable amount time if I just picked one craft project to do and do just that until the project is done and then go on to a different one but that wouldnt be nearly as much fun !! lol
  9. i dont have a dust collecter....iv never had one.. I do have a shop vac but didnt know you could hook them up as a dust collector....I have a dewalt and i dont see any way to hook up any kind of dust collector. I was very happy to see that the little scroll saw i got for my grandson for christmas has a place to hook up a hose from a shop vac to it so he will have some kind of protection from the dust... i'll have to see about getting him a shop vac as i dont think his parents have one.... and no i dont let my lung dr know i scroll let alone that i dont have a dust collecter!!! lol she rags on me enough now as it is lol
