Has anyone used LibreOffice Draw? It's free and there are different versions for the OS your using.
  2. Some how it turned into a fuzzygraph
  3. A little something for my wife. The rose is aromatic cedar, background is soft maple? And frame is walnut made on my router table.
  4. I bought a set for my DeWalt and had pretty much the same problem. The chucks have an inner spindle they ride on that's wider than the chuck and the chuck will slide side to side. I contacted the vender who contacted the maker I believe. They said they would take care of me. I made a set of thin washers from plastic with a set of hole punches, and that fixed the problem for me. It took a long time to get some thing from the makers. I believe they sent me a set of spring or wave washers. I never used them. when my plastic washers wear out I'll go back to the original chucks. They also claim that the chucks weigh less than the originals, I weighed mine and the Pegas chucks are heavier.
  5. Those are all great! Where did you find the Crow/Raven Celtic pattern?
  6. If you can get the page you want flat try taking a photo of the pattern.
  7. My wife works from home and we were joking around one day about me being in her office. She jokingly said my office was in the garage. This is the results. She was sending a little sign to the landfill when I saw it and stopped her. I'll take that and anything like that. When pealing off the pattern I saw the letters and left them the way they were. I was going to paint them white.
  8. Very nice! I've been looking at doing the bamboo and bird trip-tic.
  9. This is my second project. This is a Steve Good pattern. I'm still amazed I didn't break any small pieces. I did martial arts when I was a bit younger and competed in a few competitions.
  10. Nope 6" plain end blades can fit a 5"
  11. My name is LaMar I’m from South East Idaho I’m no stranger to wood but have little experience at finer wood working. I was a carpenter for thirty years and the last contractor I worked for (13 years) built big fancy homes. It would take a year to build one. One was a Frank Loyd Wright home. I was involved from the footings to the roofing. We did some pretty fancy things. I also worked as a machinist (self taught) for thirteen years. Some of the things I like to do are. Photography, Camping, Cooking, Shooting antique fire arms, some in competitions. I’m now retired and have time to do things I think? Time has a way of speeding up and disappearing. My father passed thirteen years ago and he had some wood working tools. He was an accomplished wood worker. My mother passed last September and I inherited some of my fathers tools. Among them was tools my grand father had. A scroll saw was one a 1940’s vintage Craftsman model 103.20720 it was kept outside in a shed. I’ve gone through it and did some repairs and cleaning, refurbishing, removing rust, and making parts. It now runs like a top. I’ve done a bit of scrolling with it and have searched the web for information on the craft. I think I’m hooked.
