  1. Thanks Barb, I did not like the coloring but has grown on me.
  2. Just finished this beautiful Russ Beard Pattern, it was a double stack on 4mm Birch Plywood, cut with a Niqua 1 Pin Less blade, soaked in a BLO/Mineral Spirit Mixture, finished with a few coats of clear lacquer. Black backer and a second backed smaller than the original cut to give a shadow line effect. I cannot control the final colour appearance that the wood takes on, but I will accept it and am Blessed and Grateful that I am able to produce work like this.
  3. Because our Scroll Saw market is tiny.
  4. Thank you Barbs, will go and have a look.
  5. Thank you, I know Sue but her patterns are beautiful, but it’s not the type of patterns I like cutting.
  6. Just asking this question, has anybody digitized any of the scroll saw mags and articles that they would be kind enough to share with me, here in South Africa we don’t get these type of magazines, the importers say there’s no demand for them.
  7. Thank you Denny.
  8. Thank you.
  9. Thank you.
  10. Thank you.
  11. Thank you.
  12. Finished this Buffalo a Russ Beard pattern, it was a challenging cut as Russ put so much detail in on the forehead. I double stacked 4mm Baltic Birch Plywood, cut with Niqua #0 and #1 Niqua pin less blades. Finished with a few Coates of a BLO/Mixture, varnish is still to be applied.
  13. Wow Thank you so much for your kind words, I’m sure yours will be good to.
  14. Just finished this beautiful Russ Beard pattern of the African White Rhino, it was double stacked on 4mm Baltic Birch Plywood, cut with a #1 Niqua pin less blade, soaked in a BLO/Mineral Spirit Mixture and when dry a few coats of clear varnish.
