  1. I have cut these beautiful Russ Beard patterns before but gave them all away, so I decided to cut them again, one set will be in my workshop to remind me why I wake up every day. The remaining two are going to two unsuspecting parishioners in our parish. Patterns cut on 4mm Birch Ply, #1 Niqua Blade, treated with BLO and Mineral Spirits, and then a few coats of clear varnish.
  2. Thanks so much for your replies and very good comments, I see now I was on the wrong track all together the foot switch IS a dead man switch not a variable speed foot pedal. So having tested it it works just great, thank you all once again.
  3. Good day to my fellow scrollers, I need some help please I have a Wen 16” and I want to disconnect the speed control completely and only use a foot switch. I have contacted Wen but they have failed to come back to me. I don’t want to just start ripping wires off the pc board. I don’t use the light switch at all I have a external illuminated magnify glass. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Thank You, yes it was, but most enjoyable, love doing the Fretwork Complex Patterns.

  6. Completed the frames yesterday made from Imported Malaysian Meranti, finish is BLO/ Mineral Spirits mixture, very happy with the results, just needs the non reflective Plexiglass and then they can be mounted in the lounge.
  7. Thank you, I’ve only been scrolling four years and some how I decided that these Fretwork Complex patterns is what I wanted to do, yes I made mistakes, but you I simply believed in myself and my abilities, and now I can produce work like this.
  8. Thank you, they were both a challenge, the Viking Girls helmet was a very time consuming process.

  13. Thanks they are quite challenging for me anyway, her helmet was a lot of work, but just enjoyed myself, no rush.
  14. Just finished this beautiful Russ Beard pattern of the Viking Girl, I double stacked them on 3mm Baltic Birch Plywood, cut entirely with a Niqua#1 Pin Less Blade, now to clean up, oil and frame. My wife Loraine has claimed these two as her own, who am I to argue.
