  1. Turned out great!
  2. Excellent job, Chuck. Your colors are great.
  3. Great work, Charlie. That looks like some very fine areas in the hair. Really like that you stained both the cutting and the backer.
  4. Great job, Wichita. You did great on the plan and the cutting is spot on. I cut Steve's pattern for my mother last Mother's Day and I cut it using 1 inch pine. The flex in the blades caused me to cut through the thin strips towards the bottom of the piece. (Only the second or third piece I ever cut.) It still came out nice and my mother was happy so all was well. I've been trying to learn Inkscape and Gimp. Going through the videos in the Village University. Travis did a great job explaining but like you mentioned, retention is an issue... especially trying to learn two different programs.
  5. Outstanding job, Tbow. All of them turned out beautifully but the Rushmore is awesome. If I'm not mistaken, you just started making your frames. You sure caught on quickly!
  6. Glad your wife is on the mend. Hope you get on the saw soon. Cold weather has kept me away from mine and I sure miss it. Going into sawdust withdrawals.
  7. Love the signs and the patio.
  8. I've thought of doing the same thing. Glad it works for you!
  9. Excellent Kevin. Lot of breads there. And I've had about all of them.
  10. Very nice, Chuck. The paint and finish really sets it off. Great job.
  11. Excellent job, Dave. I'm sure your client will be very pleased.
  12. Excellent cutting, Charlie. Great choice in wood.
  13. Like the pattern and the amendment!!!
  14. The color really makes it pop. I would have probably gone overboard and tried to paint the blue for the flag and a gray for the pole. As far as the frame, I see nothing wrong with that one. Looks like you pretty well have it mastered already.
  15. Never heard of furniture grade pine either but from the looks of your pieces I'll have to check on it. Very nice. They look very smooth.
  16. Beautiful pieces, Jim. Fantastic job.
  17. I don't know if you glued it but I would guess it could also be considered a puzzle. Turned out very cute, though. I'm with the others that the grain showing through is a plus!
  18. Nice project, Erv. And I'm one of the ones that can tell you how much I love a dog.
  19. Yep. Need me a she shed! I wonder if it would stay cleaner than a he shed? Love it though. I'm sure you will enjoy your time there.
  20. Excellent work. I'm also working on the Americana series by Jim. Just too cold to get into my shop.
  21. I actually checked it out last night. Pretty neat. By the way, you did a great job on the pattern and the cutting.
  22. Save it! Roll it up into a ball. When you open a new pack of blades, connect the ends and continue to roll it into a ball. Just think, one day people will come from miles away just to see the world's largest scroll saw blade wire ball. Better hurry. My ball is up to a half inch!
  23. Nice job Charlie. Love the red oak.

    Mooooo

Love it!!! The live edge is a bonus.
  25. Great job, Dick. And if the daughter is happy I'm sure you're happy. Where'd you get the pattern. I'm a country boy and live in horse country. That would be a nice piece for people around me.
