  1. Really nice. Looks like you already have the air brush down pretty good.
  2. I think it turned out great. I've often thought of filling cuts with epoxy but haven't tried it yet. Glad to know it will work.
  3. Great job, Michael. The grain in the spalted ash gives the car stripes.
  4. Excellent! The star was just an alteration to make it fit your own imagination.
  5. Great work!
  6. Nice job. I'm sure she will love it.
  7. Welcome to the Village, Jim. You did some beautiful work on those clocks. I'm sure they will be cherished for generations. I've wanted to tackle a clock or two but have been busy on other projects.
  8. I thought it was a chess piece until I watched the video. I'm sure she will love it. You did a great job and the wood is beautiful!
  9. Nicely done Carl.
  10. Great job, Eric. Did you try using spiral blades on that or were they all regular blades?
  11. Beautiful!
  12. You did a great job, Pete. The crackle paint gives it somewhat an antique look while the lettering are crisp. Very nice.
  13. Very neat project.
  14. Welcome to the Village, Michael, from North Carolina. I've been scrolling for less than a year and learned a lot from this forum. The members here are eager to help and the knowledge they have is amazing. Be sure you share your projects. I promise you'll receive praise as well as tips to help improve.
  15. Nice work, Barb. I understand doing something "just because." I finished a Jim Blume pattern a few weeks ago and decided to cut a few ornaments. Today I was going to start another of Jim's patterns when I realized the blade I had in the saw was a rather new Pegas #1 MGT. Rather than switch it to a spiral that I needed for Jim's pattern, I decided to cut a few more ornaments... "just because." Anyway, I finished the ornaments and did get started on Jim's pattern.
  16. Great job and the paint is a hit! Don't know how you gave the white texture but I had to look twice to realize it was actually painted.
  17. Hello Steve and welcome to the forum. You may want to post your question in the "Scrollers Q and A" area. you'll probably get a quicker response. There are many members here that use the Excalibur... however I am not one of them. You'll find the members here are more than willing to share their experience and knowledge. Be sure to share your work in the "Brag" section.
  18. Great work, Wichita. Like how the bear is stained various colors. Really makes it stand out.
  19. Only soda I will drink. Great job. I can see where it would have been challenging in areas.
  20. I thought I had all the Americana series printed out and ready to cut. Now I find there is another? Anyway, you did a fantastic job, Al. I would have never known you did a little "table editing" as Jim called it.
  21. Great work, Frank. But I've learned to expect nothing less from you. These horse portraits would go over big in my rural, horse-country area. The only problem with the horse-country area I live in is they are poor horsemen. (I should say "broke" horsemen because they treat their horses better than their selves, not that they treat their horses badly.)
  22. Congrats on the Pegas chucks. I wish my saw would accept them. It's so aggravating to clamp down on a blade only to feel it slip when you put tension one it. And the pattern you are working on looks very challenging.
  23. That is beautiful work, Tbow. A photo from the respective locations is amazing. Whatever they paid you for your consignment, it wasn't enough!
  24. It's nice to know you're back on the saw... but it's much nicer to know you are healthy enough to do so! Happy scrolling!
  25. That's some delicate work. Great job!
