  1. A Very Good Question Paul.... Was around 2 years back when I was Taught this persons Method. He was like a Teacher for Various subjects. Inlay was one. Did mention a time or two that he was Canadian. So the Inlay is just Saving a Cut-out, filling the lil hole in with a compound, sanding good and Painting. I Enjoy this a lot. Danny :+}
  2. Well You Alls here is another craft to Brighten up your Day. Hehe Brighten. Hehe Just color. I like it. Cut this one out of BB1/4". Was a Lot of Fun. My Original Idea was to paint each Leaf a Different Color....BUT.... my Better Half convinced me that hey they are leafs. Be better Green. So.................All comments will be Nice. Danny :+}
  3. Thanks for your Comment fellow Alabamian.... I learned real fast that DO NOT DRILL THE STARTED HOLE CLOSE TO THE Perimeter of the cut line. Thanks again to all :+}

  6. Big Happy Thanks to All. And YES I thought this was a real Different Pattern for a Cross. I did save the RED pieces and covered the starter hole in each piece and painted and re-stuck them back into their places. I do Like this effect. Danny :+}
  7. Very Different that all my others, but at first sight I knew I had to give it a try. I do like the outcome. Adding the words can after cutting the Stack of Three and finishing the one with Red. Any Comments is Always Good...............Tks Danny :+}
  8. I Love this project. Looks so Original. Very well cut and Displayed. Dannyy :+}

  10. Thank You to Everyone.... :+} Kind of decided to take and basically I want to just Offer one to a Buying Customer. Like my Thanks. And from this post I will sent a few out and Price Accordingly. I like the thot of labeling as Antiques. This should get the Conversation started. People are Always Curious. Thanks to All..........Danny :+}
  11. Sounds like a Good Idea Joe. So Lets see now?? ONE Puzzle with a Cross? OR A Cross and Puzzle comes Free. Nah.... Buy Cross and Puzzle half price. Hmmmmm???? :+}
  12. LSS....Many, many years back I got into Designing (Pencil n Paper) Jig Saw Puzzles. Various Sizes and Shapes. Each I also made a Custom holding Tray. I also gave each a Paint job. Out of a Spray Can. Hehe Way back FIRST CRAFT SHOW. I set them up (last count 14) on a table and I remember only asking 5 to 10 Dollars each. Never forget So, so many people saying look good. Only ONE sold that day. Next year tried once more.... NONE sold. Got Frustrated and put them into a coupld boxes and to this day they have been in them two boxes. So....The Question. What would be your Advice to do? Thot about The Decorator Firewood thing, but nah. So I shall just wait till the Jury arrives at the right thing to do. Oh nuff on this.... Any comments good or not so good will be Good. The Sizes vary from small 6 inch to large 12 inch square or Rectangle. Most all cut from 3/4" Pine. Some 1/2". OK nuff for sure.... Danny :+}
  13. Chelcass I do Agree that Mikes Workshop is the best Deal on Blades. I just go a little lost from starting to look for Other Places to order. Yea.... Go Mike....RIP :+}
  14. Wanna say Thank You's to All. Always appreciate comments. They lead onward. :+}
  15. May I ask where does one go to for Ordering said plans? I have Always been Interested, but only on a small scale do I ever get into making these. Feel a little different about these. All looks Great................Danny :+}
  16. Well I looked at this pattern a while before deciding to get started. And I am Very Happy with the way it looks. Had some Hold the breath happenings, but All in All I Really did Enjoy cutting this pattern. I am not real sure, but think Jim Blume designed it. Anyway all comments are very welcome...............Danny :+}
  17. And a Big Thank You's to All.... I did do some Investigating and after all I was drawn back to My Old Time Place....Mikes Workshop.... Broke down to where the cost difference from last year wasn't much more. I Did order the #1POLAR from Advice from a Special Friend................Can't wait to give them a try. Danny :+}
  18. Thanks for your comments. Rodney I agree with how you feel about Lowes. They sell just Birch Plywood. I started with them Long, long ago. Now I only use that for Backers on many. The Scrolling part of cutting a Pattern is a take a chance for maybe running into a Void in the wood. Terrble Sound when you are Happily cutting and run into one. In time I Knew what that meant. Anyway I did talk to Denny and he was nice enough to send me a Starter pack. I Really Really did give them a Chance using them, but just to Aggressive for my way of cutting. Been with FDUR#1 for many years. Only blade I ever use. Anyway I will just have to BITE THE BULLET so to speak and pay the Higher cost. BooHoo. Danny :+}
  19. Well I ordered a GROSS of FDUR#1 blades last year from Mikes Workshop. Always have gone to there. Anyway my Memory makes me remember $3.90 per Dozen then. Now they are Near the almost a Couple Bucks More! So my Inquiry will be about buying Scroll Saw Blades. Any advice? I still have a dozen or so still, so no Rush. :+}
  20. Been into Our Hobby for Decades. Your ability to Scroll at this point is Way, Way above any Beginner. Keep Improving and tackle some Harder projects. Danny :+}
  21. Did anyone ask.... Is there Plans for this project? I for one would just Love to give it a go.................Danny :+}
  22. Just a Quickie.... I along with many have used about All methods to adhere a pattern. I was a 100% believer in using the Odor Less Spirits sprayed on. It just wasn't for me. When I ran across using the Self Stickum I never looked back. I very much Disliked using the Spray Glue. So Messy and it Smells Terrible. Still have to use the tape under the Self Stickum paper. I did ask and did buy and did try a Painters Tape that is Low in Adhesive. Color is Lavender. Anyway this is my Feelings.
  23. Big Thanks to All. The CENTER three pieces were cut completely out. Then the lil starter hole was puttied and all Sanded then Painted. Sort a like Inlay. Learned this from a Good Canadian friend here. I have used this method on other Crosses. Everyone likes them. :+}
  24. The pattern proved to be a Challenge with some areas I needed to Really pay Attention to. And Alas I Conquered . I Stacked 3 pieces of 1/8"BB.... Couple Backers added. Any thoughts about this would be Excepted and Appreciated. Thanks for looking.... Danny :+}
  25. Don't do it Often, but to nip the bottom of the blade a quarter inch and put it back in makes for almost a new blade. Danny
