  1. I may have that pattern somewhere. If I can find it I can send it to you. I won't be able to look until later today or tomorrow.
  2. The F1 laser that Woodcraft is carrying in the store is very user friendly. We have a had a great time learning how to use it and the customers are amazed at how fast you can design/ engrave a project. I have started using the laser to engrave all of my projects when I complete them.
  3. Great work Jerry!
  4. I agree. Deadman switch is the way to go if you are looking for a foot pedal. Personally my muscle memory is geared toward controlling the saw via the stock controls. I'm afraid I might mess up my rhythm with a foot pedal.
  5. Now that is absolutely beautiful. Great work Barb!
  6. Wow! Very nice baskets. I have made a few but I see now I am going to have to step up game.
  7. Dewalt has progressively gotten worse quality wise in the last 10 years which kind of makes me sad. they used to be the top of the mid-range priced tools. 10 years ago you knew you were getting quality, now it is hit or miss.
  8. There is a difference. I have a type 2 made in Taiwan, and the Type 1 was made in Canada. After I started teaching at my local woodworking store, I was able to use a Type 1 and i definitely noticed the difference. They run smoother and quieter and the cut quality was better also. I wouldn't say it was a nirvana experience but I feel like the Type 1 just performs better overall. If you are ever able to try one out I suggest you do. Now I am just trying to figure out how I can switch out my saw for one of the classroom saws. heh heh.
  9. Welcome from OK! We're glad you're here!
  10. Also welcome from Oklahoma! You have picked a great hobby and I hope you enjoy your journey.
  11. Very nice stuff!
  12. Very nice set Dave.
  13. Very nice work! I have never even thought of scrolling on a burl. We have a ton of these in our woodworking store. I may have to try something...
  14. Great stuff Ron! Thanks for sharing.
  15. That is an awesome way to share your talents with others! Now you have given me some ideas.
  16. Very nice sign Dan! I like it!
  17. Very nice. It feels so good to make something that will be cherished for years to come.
  18. I love the gear heart! I have been thinking about making one of those for some time now.
  19. Also, good work on the logo. The only problem I see is it's not the Chiefs.
  20. I have the Rikon 10" Deluxe. Very good saw, and when you pair it with the Rikon stand it sits at just the right height IMO. Not a lot of power, but it works for what I use it for. I went for the 10" mainly because I have a very small workspace. If I need a full size bandsaw I just use the one we have at work.
  21. I think there are a few people on here that sell them, I'm not sure of the names but I am sure they will chime in soon. If you have a Woodcraft or Rockler store in your area, they will have a wide assortment of blade choices. Woodcraft carries mostly Olson blades, and some of the stores still have Pegas blades in inventory but those are being phased out. I don't know what Rockler carries; I don't go there. As always you can get them online, but I like to support my local merchants.
  22. Very nice work barb!
  23. I have looked at a lot of your creations Barb. You are really skilled at intarsia work. Thanks for sharing.
