    Steve made it very easy to get back into scrolling after 30 years. I have used his patterns quite frequently.

    I just have been watching some of his videos. He was a great unselfish guy to share his knowledge with so many people. I scrolled 20 years ago and just getting back into it and Steve was an inspiring me to get back and get better with his patterns and videos. I will miss his daily blog. Maybe we all should look at a scroll sawed pattern for a casket in his remembrance.

    I am a beginner here even though I have had a scroll saw for many years. I recently upgraded from my uncles gift to me some 40 years ago of a 16" Craftsman pinned blade to an RBI 226 VS. Man I love it. Anyhow, I have been using 2 inch painter's tape before pattern lay down and I hated the time it took me to remove the pattern with the 2 inch tape after fret work. I got to thinking do they make a wider tape and sure enough they do. I am now using 4 inch tape on my bigger projects and I love it.
