I have a Delta 40-694 that I over stressed and it quit running. I took it apart and disconnected the electric motor. Connected power to the motor and it spins. Could my problem be the computer board? Could it still be the motor?

The 40-694 is a great saw. I have two and like them. A drawback is they are not a heavy duty saw. Not good for cutting thick hardwoods.

Yea!!! At the top of this page is an interactive POLL. You can actually select... You like, you hate, but you won't rate???????????????? And that goes for your brother scrollers too, Hawks, EX's...etc

Wish I lived near you, I'd buy the light and stand for my 'new' saw. I bought the 40-694 (not here yet) and have to build a stand for it. I will still use my 40-690 probably for inlay. Now I get to see if the 40-694 is as good. Oh, and we are the only two to rate our saws.

Larry, We agree,'It's a very good saw.' A couple comments to your post. What do you mean by, 'Course found out the light and stand are, for me, only good for taking up space somewere.' Most likely it is discontinued and replaced by 40-694, but the only place I have seen that stated is in this post.

Hey Randi, Welcome.. You probably have a hardware store or two nearby... They all supply wood building material 'like' Lauan, Baltic Birch... Go on line and do a search in your area for building suppy stores
