  5. Aah Carl, Emily Dickenson(?) wrote "Fame is a fickle food served on a shifting plate where a guest..." or something like that Gee, soapstone! The name always confused me. Soap is soft but stone is hard. On a lathe, must have dulled your blades. On the other hand, it could probably sharpen blades also.
  6. Make me smile! I like the pattern, love the little intro story.
  7. Ray, I mean octoolguy, you ain't going to remember everybody's name. I made a rule for myself... "I have a right to call you by your member name especially if you don't sign your posts."
  8. Hey rjR, always wanted to ask, 'Why are the first two letters lower and the last is upper case..rjR?

  24. In My Humble Opinion, no two answers will be alike. I go mostly by width and thickness..IE: .026 x .011 I do believe that I could buy nothing but a selection of .026 x .011 blades and I could cut any pattern with them. There are a variety of these .026 x .011 blades, reverse teeth, skip tooth and a variety of teeth per inch. I use .022 x .008, to .034 x .015 Blades # 2, 3, 4, 5's each come in different width and thickness I suggest you get a couple blades in the .026 x .011 ... one .024 x .011 one .029 x .0?? and one .032 x .0??
  25. Thank you...I am looking for those little doors that I don't know about. I am hoping for somethiing less cumbersome. Probably the easiest so far is Roly's
