  1. I agree with Marg and Roly, They are all great pieces, you should do well. Gator some good sellers there love the plaques . Seasonal items should do well.
  2. So I understand that the answer is YES to copy the pattern, yes to upload picture of cut to SSV.
  3. Hello Friday participants. I went back to bed. Just got back up, felt good. Don't know what I'll go do. Maybe cut fire wood. Hey Marg pumpkins and apples are in, fall here and spring for you...
  4. I like what you did. I can't tell there is a modification in the pattern.
  5. Super, very good.I do like all three.
  6. Very well done ! Good to master those spirals.

They all are well done. I especially like the hands.
  11. Can you keep us updated?
  12. Welcome! I hope you are a big sponge. You need to love to read because there is a couple hours of new everyday. I'm sure you can learn a lot here because there is a lot here to learn. But you will learn the most about scrolling by scrolling.
  13. Beautiful....again.
  14. I want to shout ...LOVE IT! Great little story. Gotta ask this because it's what we have.. Is that a sheet covering the couch? WE do that when we have no guests just to help control some hair. Except it does not help since our Paddington crawls under the sheet.
  15. Don't forget 'False teeth' may keep some from eating them, like or not..... : <--- don't know what this is
  16. Chief John, Next question you ask, make it on a 'new' post. Lots have already checked this out and may not expect a question here. WE all like questions, so do!!! ask!! WE learn or re-learn from your questions. Thats important to us old guys..... One other thing I like to promote is searches. Every Forum has a search engine at the top right. Example: Go to General Scroll Sawing and search for "Attach a pattern". See what you get.
  17. Inventive I would say along with imagination. Looks great.
  18. Do not buy a scroll saw that only takes pinned blades. You can buy any size blade you want. So blade size is a non-issue. The saw must be able to take non-pinned blades. I know nothing about those saws. Someone will probably address your question better.
  19. John, I do not think there are many here that use iron-on (if I'm wrong,I'll hear about it). Most use spray glue. Here are the steps I use to attach a pattern. 1) Prep wood, cut, rout, sand smoooooth. 2) Use either Blue Painters Tape or Glad Press and Seal on the wood. 3) Spray glue pattern and attach to Blue Painters Tape or Glad Press and Seal 4) Overlay or top with clear packing tape. For small projects I just spray glue back of pattern and attach to wood. After I have finished cutting, I use lacquer thiner to remove glue and rest of pattern.
  20. I'll bet my bottom dollar that he is smart, cool and a fun puppy.
  21. You are welcome! Scrollsawing is kinda like stearing a car, just stay on the line.
  22. You are welcome to all of it. I have never tried bread pudding, not even my own.
  23. Glad you looked Marg. I forget how the 'Hide & Show' works and have to relearn it.
  24. I'll mark my calendar and set a reminder... Bring back a 'story'
