I like the way you did the 'y's and the name plate is cut very well. You can always overcoat gloss with satan or semi if you don't like it.

I was given four Cedar logs,,,not really logs, 8" to 10" inches in diameter and 4' to 5' feet long. I cut and planed one today. I am amazed how much shavings you can produce from one little log. I have a feed bag 2/3 full of cedar chips. I don't want to throw them away. I could use them for bedding in horse stalls,don't want to do that. Not mulch either. What can I do practical with cedar chips? Larry

I thought you could easily remove excess when it congeals but not dry. And I thought I always said, ' You can't use too much glue.' Of course I never took Kevin and his projects into consideration.

No good pics Kevin. It was a three day show and first day when I took a camera, was yucky. Saturday when I did not take a camera, was beautiful and all the engines paraded around. My timing sucked.

Jim, Kevin, the chainsaw carver, says if you want anything carved, he will do it. Yesterday I went to his shop, 1 1/2 hour drive and his carvings are top rated. A pair of boots on one carving looks like real boots. Anyway, I got a good size white oak burl, some white and red cedar wood from him.

Of course those bowls are beautiful, that wood is so nice.
