Dan, have those oats with a sugar cube. Put a little molassas on them. Sorry but I thought someone else would stand up or sit down and make coffee. I don't want to dominate. I read a funny one the other day and it kinda tells the story of why I am up early enough to 'Open up' each day. What I read was, " Hungry cats don't have a snooze button. " I have a cat, TK ( Total Kitten ) who gently wakes me each morning. Hops on the bed and walks by my face close enough for his whiskers to brush me. I'm now awake! Then he walks across me and sits near my head and purrs. He does this until I get up. Feed both my cats, my dog and myself. I multitask by logging on while I fix the food. Then next is the horses. I guess I have to go to the feed store tomorrow. Didn't know you could eat so many oats. Time for bed,,,,,,Good Night all Maybe I'll open tomorrow if noone beats me to it.
  5. Frank, you did a great job cutting the, 'The Church in the Mountains'. I admire you for cutting that twice. That has some very delicate spots. Larry

  8. I will, I will, as soon as my Wife gets home and approves. Just a formality here at my house.
  9. The one problem I see is that it is too nice to use. But I would like to see you dirty it up.
  10. I like the arrow and the eagle... good job. That wood is too nice to be put in the ground...
  11. If I were doing it, I would glue 3, clamp and set aside. glue three...etc. Glue three until you have 30 or so 1/8" x 2 1/4" x 15" When I glued the last three I would then start again with the first ones I glued. Glue them in sections of two or three until...you are done. I guess...That's my thoughts.
  12. Those are beautiful. What could be said other than they are beautiful. Larry

  16. Yes it is beautiful wood. You are blessed to be in an area where it grows. I've never seen Misquite. LArry
  17. On June 2, 1953 Queen Elizabeth II of Britain was crowned in Westminster. To honor her on her anniversary we are having her usual breakfast served. Cornflakes or Special K, with a spoonful or two of apricots, prunes or some macadamia nuts. If you would rather, there is Ham N' Eggs in the kitchen. With tea and coffee. I Hope I am right on this... Anyway, I'm having a cup of coffee. Enjoy...
  18. You are a great 'cross' man. I really like not only the crosses but your choice of wood. I guess we could call you a 'basket' case also. Cheers to you Roly.
  19. I agree with you. Craft shows are primarily for the sponsors. It's a crap shoot for the crafters. Maybe this will get the gears moving and I will make a plan. Thanks for the post Hans.
