  1. Welcome Robb. I gave my thoughts of scrolling on a crayon line in your other post. Blade is too small for the wood. The wood is too hard or thick for the blade. You are pushing too hard. There are other reasons, someone will mention them. It is good you have future projects planned. Now you need to get your confidence. You will always have little screw ups as we all do. That is just the nature of scrolling. There is a lot of information herein and there is always someone to answer your questions. Welcome to the Village. Stop in for coffee sometime.
  2. Kevin can scroll straight down the line while he sleeps. Well Robb, you can't blame the saw, you have a good one. A lot of staying 'on the line' depends on a number of factors. The blade you use and the speed you cut. Also the thickness of the wood and the wood hardness. The smaller the blade, the more likely to stray. Welcome,
  3. A successful day is g-o-o-d. Plan one for tomorrow now that you know how it's done.

  10. Another cribbage board in my quest to fill my shop with them. This board is approx 11" x 12" and 1" thick. The Harpy Eagle is cut on 5/8" Oak and the Cribbage Board is on 3/16" Maple. The finish is Lacquer. The Eagle has a few tricky cuts, I like the way it turned out. Thank you Vykus for the Harpy Eagle pattern. Thank you Wilson Woodworks for the cribbage pattern. Larry
  11. June 6, 1944, more than 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline, to fight Nazi Germany on the beaches. Please remember those brave heros today!
  12. Frayed cord, loose connection, flakey outlet? Yes, now pile up the sawdust.
  13. Fays - it's home cooking. Famous since June 04,2014 Stop by for Breakfast. Her pancakes are a particular favorite among the locals. Edward won the pancake-eating competition at Fay's Country Kitchen by accident. Enjoying a plate of peach pancakes just like the ones Edward ate. Oh, if we got any more. Or you could stuff yourself with fluffy omelets, toasted blueberry muffins, and well-done hash browns There is always a pilgrimage that comes just for the tea and coffee. It's free when you sign your name.
