  1. Pete, DW and all who would like round cribbage pattern. Here's what I will do. I have no template. I have a 'very' poor pattern that needs to be clean up. I found a very small picture and kept enlarging it until I got the size I needed. Problem is that when you enlarge some patterns, the circles become like crystals. No real shape. I will made this a priority project to see if I can, using a black marker, make the pattern more useable. and provide it to all. Actually what would be nice is to ... got to explain here There are 24 sets of 5 holes = 120 holes around the circle per player. as you look at the board above, there is about 3+ inches of unused space at the bottom. Need to spread the holes further apart. Enlarging the pattern enlarges everything. Enlarging any more won't work. Though 'you' cannot tell, the holes are toooooooo close together. I screwed up once and that is why there is a cherry boarder on top. It covers the bad holes first drilled so I could try again. I want a good pattern also. I will do what I can and will be back with something. MAYBE I could say more...thats enough
  2. Dan, I can't watch it, i'm on dial-up with slow computer. I'll assume it's as heart warming. So I will imagine.... Larry
  3. Thank you Grampa for this pattern. I think the wood is Ash. The trim with the cribbage is 1/8 Cherry luaun. The size is 10 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches. Finished with Lacquer. I added it to my albumn. This is one of my favorite cuts. Even with all the mistakes I know about. I do so enjoy when I finish a scroll. Larry
  4. I love Grampa's pattern, I forgot the name but I'll call it Lake Fishing. Paul's pattern was kinda easy to cut with justa couple 'take it slow' spots. But the cribbage holes are another matter. The cribbage pattern holes are too close together for an 1/8" drill bit. I screwed up trying to use one. I thought I had ruined my cribbage idea. At least on this one. I got the idea to cut a piece of 1/8" luaun(? BB) and glue it on top and try drilling the holes again. I still have about 70% of the holes to finish drilling. Oh yes, and I dropped down to a 7/64th drill bit. Looks like it will work this time. Will post a picture when I finish it. I like it, hope you do.
  5. Roly, I did : I enjoyed reading all of this topic. Wish I could add something and I will. Paul had the best comment. Hey, and most do not know what a "fob" is. Originally a fob was associated with a watch pocket (which some people don't know what that is) and its contents.
  6. Dan, that is a great cut. That will be displayed with great pride.
  7. Hey Jay Leno, another nice car to add to your collection. Beautiful job.
  8. Wow, do you have a busy schedule. May the Lord bless you and Phyllis. Will be waiting to hear from you. Go with God.
  9. I enjoyed reading all of this topic. Wish I could add something

  13. Hey Clayton, They were all abandoned buildings. No tenents except spiders.
  14. Don that is a good job. I like it. Hey, I just have to say I'm glad you Don, made the rack. So I can say without worry of mis-interpertation, " Great looking rack "
  15. Yes Carl, thank you. Made with no pattern or rather my pattern piece by piece. I sorted the chimney pebbles from shovel loads of gravel. And they are more a part of me ... and you understand. Again Carl, I appreciate your words and thank you.
  16. Here is group pictures of most of my cabins. There are a few more. Hope you like them... I spent countless hours on each
  17. These cabins were made so the chimneys burned incense. They are approx 8" most sides. The wood comes from a 100 year old barn wood, pine and the roofs are from old shingles. The Jail House has jail cells on the inside
  18. I'll take pics of the village... at least individually. It's not setup as a village... just on a shelf.
  19. There's coffee and hot water on the stove, help yourself. Just wondering, do we have any French members? Well, I have a batch of French Toast with peaches and syrup on the table. Maybe you call it by another name. I'll be staying around 'cuase I want to see if G'Ma stops in. Thought maybe Grampa would say hi. Later, I gotta eat

  21. Between scrolling, cutting wood, I started cleaning my shop. There was a unfinished miniature cabin on a shelf; ... I made a village of these little cabins. these are two of them: Anyway, as I was saying I took one unfinished cabin off a shelf and I found a mouse had taken up residence. Some shavings and paper stuffed inside, some unfinished corn under the table. I thought it cute but I evicted anyway. I'll have to check my village later on.
  22. That is a great piece of work. Looks impressive. Intarsia brings it to life!
  23. Thanks Dan, I need a little break. Spring rain is ok as long as it is kinda warm. Hope all goes well on the new job. I just finished switching my neighbors lawn tractor from a snow plow to a lawn mower. He told me he broke two mower drive belts last year. I asked when was the last time you greased the mower? He said never. I had to replace the grease fittings before I could grease it. I could hear the spindles brfore I greased it, now I can't. Well, I think I'll go scroll a little. I have a Grampa pattern I want to finish cutting, it's the fly fishermen on a lake trying to land a Speckled Trout (I think) . I have the canoe and the fishermen yet to cut. OH, Thank you Paul. It's a beautiful pattern. Sorry I rambled, I actually had more to say...later
  24. I like it, any child would. You did a good job. Larry
