  1. What can I say, it's all been said and it's all true. You will need to plan on one for next year. You set a precedence with this one that will be hard to top. Larry

  3. The font is great and good job framing it. Gee another, I wish I had time ... 'cause I agree with DW. Larry
  4. No advice... You're between a rock and a hard place. Solutions are bigger drill press, mini drill stand (Dremel or Sears (in Mexico?)) or Gee, you already know all the options I could think of. This is a wasted post Larry There is a possible one time solution but I bet you will encounter this situation again...again...again Another local woodworker, Machine shop. Be desperate and go to a store, request to test a drill press with a bigger throat than you have. OK, I'm being less than serious.
  5. Thank you all and especially Birchbark.
  6. Thank you all and again 'Thank you Steve Goode'

  18. Hey Kevin, why didn't you make us coffee & tea this morning? You were up at 06:00. Kuda put fresh grounds on top of yesterdays. I do that and it tastes good. I have water that is still hot on the wood stove and coffee is warm in the pot, help yourselves. Heading to the shop. Later Larry
  19. Good night Ron and all. I'm off to bed. Ron, having seen the scoll work you have shared, this one I'm sure will be another of your master pieces. I think I can safely say," It's (will be) beautiful ". (Just wanted to be the first) I joked on that last line, please forgive me, it's late and I'm tired. Larry
