  1. I would bet it is regional. When viviting in Virginia, they carried aeromatic(sp?) cedar. None in my norteast region.
  2. Just like Katie said.... Other than that, I go by dimensions of blades. I use a lot of blades that are .026 If you like how it cuts...
  3. Except for missing a front and back cover... really, not a boring read. You explained well. My only complaint is you may be a perfectionest, detailed and precise in your actions.
  4. vERY NICE CUTTING THERE mISTER. (Oops). Very nice cutting there Mister. I've cut that scene before but the words do add that 'extra' touch. Christmas, never too early or too late to start cutting.
  5. LOL, total confusion to me since I, like the Carp, fed from the bottom.
  6. Welcome and have fun scrolling, sawing and lathing away.
  7. A big WELCOME from me Brian. great puzzle site, loads of info to read on here have fun. Larry (I love the welcomes Roly posts)
  8. Welcome to the Village. Reading your post, I am hoping you decide to stay and stop talking about visiting. You can go to the Village Diner and fix breakfast. Or throw a party and invite everyone. I did that once and nobody showed up.
  9. First John, if you read all the posts, we may not hear from you for a year or so. As Roly said,'A big WELCOME from me John ask away we love questions.' Almost every scroll question has been answered correctly once. You have to choose the one. Just kidding, maybe not once.
  10. I use packing tape to help secure the pattern. Though I do not use it all the time. Never noticed a difference and really does not matter to me if it lubs or not. As small as the blades and teeth are and the relatively small cost, I don't think a couple more strokes on a blade saves a lot. Just my take....
  11. Welcome Bob. Just wanted you to know an EX owner will show up shortly.
  12. Thank you! We cannot do enough for our VETERIANS. Jerry, do you stack cut these? This is the first dumb question ever asked here. I'll go for two... Do you tape across the white then paint the red & blue? See, I would think tape would be too sticky on poster bd. and contact paper. Grteat idea and well done.
  13. I don't hate spirals and I sometimes would like to be proficient with them. But not enough to buy a supply.
  14. If you can afford it, if I could, I'd go with the Ex.
  15. Welcome. This is a great place to share your talents. We would be pleased to see some of your art you've made with your scroll saw. Hopefully after cutting for 6 hours a day since '98 you finally finished a piece. If you've got any jokes, you can share those also.
  16. Very nice Kevin. Tough job well done.
  17. Very good, you should be 'Happy' with that. That Buffalo and somebody is going to be glad you made a little mistake.
  18. I was going to say something about this but I forgot what...
  19. Great job and good idea!
  20. Good job Kevin. What are the two pictures with the shooting stars.
  21. Is that your coffee cup? Looks good with the 'Word of God' steaming up from it. Good job.
  22. Well cut, nice saying!
