Wilson, there are a hundred things that make this a great place. If you have a question, it will be answered at least twice. Maybe even correctly. The best group of helpful people you could ever find. Hope you stick around and join in on our conversations. There's a pseudo breakfast most mornings with a little conversation. Problem is, we are world wide, so breakfast could last 24 hours. Anyway, Welcome. hope your stay is enjoyable, long and your search for wood is fruitful. Larry

This is from a pattern in Creative Woodworks & Crafts 10 Exclusive Wildlife Patterns Designer is Billy "BJ" Holm There is no finish, just to cold. The wood is Birch I think.

It will cost time but you can drill twice. Smallest bit you have first then use larger bit on one side just countersink, turn over and drill through...

I usually make a little. I go mostly for the interaction with other scrollers. Someone to talk to, and here what they think about scrollwork.

Good to hear about your visits in the Northwest. Kevin, there are at least four SSV members in Florida. About once a year some SSV guys meet at a craft fair in Saratoga Springs, I think. Maybe somebody could update us on that.

You will stand tall when you finish. Just drilling the holes will take you a week.

Well now, I'll try replying to this a third time... I love your Old Truck. Beautifully done. Looks like it's rusting away on the back lot. I'd tow that old truck back to the garage and restore it.
