The problem with both of these that I saw, neither are patterns that are easy scrollable fonts. I like the ideas OOPS... Len, I wasn't serious. :smile: (my emocon don't work) :grin: Thanks for making me take a second look.

Dick, You must be in the right spot. You're blessed to have met that many SSV Members. I say that because I have never met another scroller much less an SSV Member. I thought that someday I'd like to not just meet another scroller, I'd like to watch him scroll. Bet I could learn something. Very nice of you to buy lunch, when I visit I'm making it dinner time.

Hi Jordan, Welcome to the Village (atm) What have you scrolled so far. Love to see a cutting or any of your woodwork. Stick around, ask a question and see how many answers you get. Stay long enough to teach us what you know. Do those portraits. Jordan, there are so many things to cut ... like "Cut those letters "ATM" out of your Post.

Oh Mimi, slap me! You don't have a stand, don't want to make a stand, leave me in a quandry for suggestions. Most woodworkers either have a conventional table or make one. Use sawhorses and boards, old outdoor grill stand, 55 gallon drum, old stump, tailgate of pickup... You could check out Salvation Army for a table. Really ain't a lot of choices

I enjoyed reading your words. How true they are for many scrollers. I just realized that I listen as I scroll. I can hear the different tones and notes. The blade plays a tune as it cuts. How it changes thru different parts of the wood. Thank you for reminding us of how the saw whispers to each of us.
