  1. One week ago I said, " Kevin would be perfect, He does these in his sleep . "
  2. Oh Man... It's the 'RIGHT' coast.
  3. That is outstanding. Beautiful cross.
  4. Newark Valley, New York .... I'll have to check out where Panama, NY is....
  5. The saw I had that took just pinned blades was awkward to hook up and tighten.
  6. Excellent question. Best answer I have is: 1) I have a big stack of 1" wood. Maple,Cherry,Oak, Birch,...etc, etc. and not a lot of BB or Lauan 2) Not good at and don't like making frames for 1/8" b/b So here is an opportunity to educate me... Funny, I like working with b/b because I can stack and get + for one cut. I
  7. I want one! Great job. At first read, I thought Steve said, ' Looks like you, Gator ' I was going to say, " No, because it doesn't have a beard. " Yes, That will be a trophy hanging on the wall.
  8. I didn't count the holes but this pattern is the most holes I've threaded a blade thru. SUper thanks to all.
  9. Pleased you are back in business.
  10. Steve, Message and ask her.
  11. Don, From my eye, your sign is quite ready. I suspect you lean a bit toward perfection. The letters are a perfect cut and the Harley sign is 'crisp'. Nice job.
  12. Gently weeps? Looks 'Blazingly' good to me. Great looking guitar Hans.
  13. Maybe there is a scrollsaw club or another scroller near by. Someone who would assist you in your project. Other than that......I yield.
  14. Perk, there was a couple times I almost ruined it in the early cutting stage. Thats when I was doing the whiskers. I needed thin blades but thin ones had a problem cutting a straight line on 3/4 wood. I used a lot of blades on the face. After that, it was easy cutting.
  15. I never thought about it. Black (F) always worked for me. I can say NO to C & E
  16. What a great piece of work. Pat him on the back for me. Thank you for sharing this with us.
  17. Jennifee, Sounds like an impossible situation and this is one where a picture would help. I use tiny (.022 x .008) blades and they are BIG compared to blades available. Again, I can't tell you how to cut something I can't see.
  18. Thank you for your special uplifting comments. Dan, thank you, I enjoy looking at it everytime I go in the shop where it is hung. Edward, you know it also feels good to finish it and sit back and look at it.
  19. Thank you everyone!
  20. Well, you gotta cut until you wear out at least two blades... breaking don't count!

    Basket

I like what I see. Good no, great job scrolling that basket. I see a beautiful 'white' basket. I think it would be excellent to spray paint it white.
  22. Hans, Out of breath, lost for words. Nothing to say that would convey how impressed I am. It's not how many holes or how many hours, it's the quality!
  23. Ike pinned tHAT ONE... iT'S A box for whatever you want it to be.
  24. What do you enjoy doing? My scroll saw is dusty also but for a different reason. I hope you don't let the 'wrong' dust settle on the saw ever again.
  25. My wife said," It's a box for something." and I agree.
