Can anyone help, I am having trouble printing the word art I have designed on Inkscape, I am using a HP printer, the paper goes through without printing     .

When you open the programm there is a sheet in the middle of your screen.

When you make something in Inkscape you should place it on that sheet.

You can work anywhere you want but your design should be placed on this sheet befor you canb print it.

I think that is what went wrong.

 

I hope you understand my explanation. When it is not completely clear I'm certain that someone else can help you further.

Rich as the scrolkler said. the "Pallette"  which is the white "paper" you see on opening is the only printable area of the desktop. If your design is not on that pallette when you send it to printer it will not print.

I can't find where to load the font i like in inkscape.No   wonder i can't pattern to much to learn

Rich it could be that your not clicked on the item you want to print so it's printing the background white colour.

Kevin click on the A icon  then click on the drop down menu select your text and your off.
