I have put up a display in a local artisans store to allow more people to see my work, and hopefully sell some of it.  Time will tell if it works, but I knew I needed to do something to move product, and I feel that this will be better than doing weekend shows..  Place I am in is located in a tourist destination here in Michigan called Canterbury Village.  They have a large Christmas store and lots of little stores full of various things.  A large event every other weekend draws large crowds that will be able to see my work.  Here is the Display I piut up on a wall space that is 8 ft tall, and 5.5ft wide.

Great display with some fine intarsia, Lee,

Did you have to build the slatted portion from which these are displayed?
I hope those chipmunks don't get dripped on from that leak in the right corner of the pic! LOL

This is the most beautiful display I have ever seen!! I am going to print this picture and make me one, It my be a year or 2, before I get some stuff ready for a show I want to enter. I have never been in one due to cost and afraid no one buying my art. I will never know unless I try one, right. :) Thank you for this motivation.

Lee,

Because of the pricing you need on these works of art, I believe you have hit on a way to make it happen. Craft shows are usually people looking for something unusual in the $5- $40 price range. I think most thing higher priced than that, do not move very well there. But this is a place where people go to buy an upper end items and with the twice a month special showings, I think you will fnd some of your things will start selling.. Good choice, my friend

Thank you everyone. My only fear is that they DO start flying off the wall, and I can't keep up with demand.  I am in the store for a year, so hopefully, I will be spending ALOT of time in the shop.  The new Excalibur is a bonus.  it cuts so much better and smoother than the porter cable did.  Much easier to follow the line and give me tighter fits.
