marmoh Posted April 6, 2015 Report Posted April 6, 2015 Didn't do too much woodworking last year as my husband was sick. Getting back into the swing of it and really enjoying the feel of wood in my hands again. Bishop and amazingkevin 2 Quote

Scrappile Posted April 6, 2015 Report Posted April 6, 2015 Really nice work. Love the wood choices. I've just got to get into intarsia. Quote
marmoh Posted April 6, 2015 Author Report Posted April 6, 2015 The woods on the boots are unknown as they came from a pallet I was given. The hat is Walnut. The backer board was something I had laying around that was from an old barn that was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina (the black on the board is from where the nails were). The woods on the Salmon are green poplar and cedar (from the Amish in TN) the backer board is blue pine and the rocks are unknown woods from pallets. Thanks for the kind comments. Quote
