The woods on the boots are unknown as they came from a pallet I was given.  The hat is Walnut.  The backer board was something I had laying around that was from an old barn that was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina (the black on the board is from where the nails were).

The woods on the Salmon are green poplar and cedar (from the Amish in TN) the backer board is blue pine and the rocks are unknown woods from pallets.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Wonderful pieces, the use of found woods is great. Your ability to put it all together so well is a testament to your skills.

Great Job. We hope that you and your husband will enjoy good health from now on.

Thanks

God Bless

This is the third one of the cowboy boots that we have seen recently and each one although the same look completely different.  Yours is equally as impressive as the other two.  The fish one is very colorful.  Well done.  It's good to see you back Marion, hope hope your husband is feeling better.

The pattern was from www.Facebook.com/intarsianuts.  They offer a pattern for free to try and get people more enthused or even started with intarsia.  Hey,  might be a good sight for you to consider, Marg.
