ubgoofy2003 Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 I just finished cutting this double of John Wayne. I wanted one that is a little bigger in size. It's 15 x 12 on 1/8 in. ply. I have done one of Rooster Cogburn before. Haven't decided on a frame for them yet, but, will probably make them myself. I coated it with Tongue oil & stain on the vest. The back is of black foam board. Thanks for looking Lucky2, neptun and New Guy 3 Quote
danny Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 GREAT JOB of bringing THE DUKE to life. Never heard of using a stain to make extra color, but THANKS FOR THIS TIP. I shall incorporate it in my next Portrait. You did a OUTSTANDING job of Scrolling. Danny :+} Quote
