orangeman Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 $360 sounds like a fair price. Last April I paid $470 for a new one. I was thinking of asking $375 as it is still under warranty. I have not used craigslist before and would be interested to hear about your experience. Regards, Brian www.pickenspuzzles.com Quote
SDB777 Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 C-List can be 'weird' at best... I have a few ads on there. I get more then a few responses a week that offer certified checks and moving people to come pick things up, or want to wire funds to my bank account-please send all banking information to 'email address'.....just be 'weird' back to them! Tell them to have the moving company people to bring cash, or you don't trust banks-bring cash. Don't forget to mention that you will be using a cash 'pen' to make sure the money isn't fake. If an actual human contacts you, be safe! Meet at the police department, never at your home! I know the 2nd Amendment can be a touchy thing for some people...but think about being 'really safe'. Do not take checks of any kind, cash is king!!! Do not give out a phone number....ever! From the ad listed, I would ask for real photo's of the item to be sold....these photo's look like 'stock' amazon photo's-to me it is screaming scam or possible fake ad(JMHO). All that said.... I have ads for things that are wanted, mostly for tree removal so I can mill the logs into lumber for my many addictions. So I over communicate with people that respond...and that can weird people out too! Scott (be careful with C-list) B Quote
