rjR Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) Mostly cut on scrollsaw; but I used the table saw and the chop/cut-off saw also. It was made from salvage weathered wood for the vintage look. A lot of try-fail-re-try- fail- try again was involved to get it decent! My daughter-in-law wants it as a Christmas present for one of her friends. They like antiques and very vintage decor! The sides had to be cut from 2 different directions. The wheel is made in pieces. They are laid out on a 90 degree from each other, glued and nailed together, then the circle is laid out and cut with the scrollsaw. Then I fix "pilot arrors" with the belt sander. The unit was then lightly torched foran aging effect! Edited November 13, 2015 by rjR amazingkevin and Lucky2 2 Quote
