Deer scene

just finished this one earlier today, stack cut two out of 1/4 inch birch plywood, Im looking for suggestions on what to do with it exactly like what kind of finish, backer ideas, and anything else you might think of. Thanks!

Joe,

I've done a few projects like this in the past, I would recommend a dark backer like walnut. It will really make the deer pop !! I always finished mine with satin poly.

look up complimentary colors ,That will give you incite  as to how to blend it just right! ,Nice job! :rofl: :rofl:

Nice cutting. I have tried a few different things and it's hard to beat a black background.

I think it just needs a darker background, other than that it looks great.

You could also cut some hills behind and put them on a stand. Great cut.  Roly
