jblock9907 Posted May 2, 2016 Report Posted May 2, 2016 Just came back from the vet. I had to put down my shop dog Willie. Really really tough. He had been with us for 13 years. He started to get these masses and tumors and he had a tough time walking. I am really going to miss him. Quote
WayneMahler Posted May 2, 2016 Report Posted May 2, 2016 Tough to lose a family member and old time friend. My female is 12 and has trouble getting around. So the wife and I have already had this discussion. Sorry for your loss. Quote

Ron Johnson Posted May 2, 2016 Report Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) Sorry for your loss. Like most pet lovers it's awful hard to let go. Most pet owners have gone through that dreadful day at least one time or more. Lost my best friend of 15 years on Father's Day last year and the hurt is still with me. May Willie R.I.P. Kepy Posted May 3, 2016 Report Posted May 3, 2016 Only another dog owner can understand your loss. I was looking at my buddy the other day and trying to decide which of us should go first. I think it would be tough either way. Quote
Forester Posted May 3, 2016 Report Posted May 3, 2016 I know how you feel had our old dog put down just before Christmas she was 13. And Friday night had to have my sons dog put down because she attacked our cat and dogs. Quote
Sycamore67 Posted May 3, 2016 Report Posted May 3, 2016 It happens and is difficult. A month ago we had to put our 17-1/2 year old mini-dachshund. She was a great dog and will be missed. Quote
Doug Posted May 3, 2016 Report Posted May 3, 2016 (edited) Maybe you can scroll a portrait like Ron did for his best friend or something like this which I did for a friend who lost his Golden Retriever named Dunken.
