Kevin, we'll call me a "minor league professional".  Single A ball for now.  ;-)

P.S. - I just built a stair step shelving "thing" to display the dogs in a standing position and the wind won't knock them over.  As soon as I spray paint it later or tomorrow I'll share pics.

Wow, I step outside to paint the display I built and you guys shut the entire site down on me...  ;-)

Well, here it is...  http://content.screencast.com/users/Iguanadon/folders/Jing/media/87881e48-c701-44df-85a2-b1221103bcb8/2016-06-12_1903.png

I like how it turned out.  We'll see how it does in the real world on Saturday.

I also sell at a farmers market.  My first this year starts this Sat.  I go there every Sat. June- Sept. I have been doing this for nine years now.  My pricing is about the same as yours.  Hard to sell more expensive stuff at a farmers market.

Business cards are a long term investment.  I put them out, and folks took them, for about three years before any of them got me some work.  I did get three $500 custom orders that way.

     Nice product you offer!

Love your display stand. Is it your own design or did you find a plan?

Thanks.  Designed in my tiny little brain.  The trick was making the gaps just the right size.  I used a piece of scrap poplar which is what I use to make the puzzles from and squeezed between the square strips as I screwed them in place.  I even thought ahead and added 4 sheets of paper as a "shim" to allow a small amount of extra space so they'll fit in place without being too snug.  I had a couple of tight spots but was able to sand just a little bit to get everything nice and even.

Here's a pic from a different angle.  Square trim stock strips screwed onto1/8th inch plywood shelves.  The goal was to keep it light weight, yet strong.

Great First show!

I do not seem to do well at shows.

I do seem to do fair at Offer-Up, Craig'slist and even just a garage-sale format when there are others in the neighborhood!

Yo might be able to cut 2 at once on the DW788.  Double an easy one for the first attempt. My DW handled double on 3/4 pine easily.

You say you shrink wrap your items.  What do you use to do this? Sounds like a great idea for puzzles!

I use the shrink wrap bags linked below.  I bought a heat gun, but a hair dryer may work.  It works very well for my items and being able to do it for customers at the farmers market is great so they can easily carry the item back to their home/hotel.  I don't even put it in a bag or anything, just shrink wrap it and hand it to them.

Here's the end result.  http://screencast.com/t/csGaaLXvg
