Marine Emblem

I have a nephew that is enlisting in a couple of months and asked if I could cut one for him.

 

The pattern is from Steve Goods catalog and cut on 1/8" BBP and backer.  The pattern was stack cut

 

and I will send him both so he can pick his own backer if he wants something different.

 

Cut with #1 blade.

Both look very nice. Would be hard to choose between the backers.  I am sure your nephew will be thrilled to receive either one.  Kind of you to let him "pick".  We appreciate his willingness to serve our country. Please tell him "thanks."
