Kepy Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 Am off to the Dr. today to have him do nasty things to me. Think it is a wasted effort as all the tests so far are positive but he wants to be sure so will be doing a biopsy. Quote

Kepy Posted October 11, 2016 Author Report Posted October 11, 2016 Well, I survived. Was definitely not a fun experience but pretty much pain free. Strange laying there and listening to the Dr. and nurse discussing pictures of my insides. He did lead me astray as he said a biopsy which sound like one to me. Wound up with 12 samples taken so imagine my prostrate looks like a chunk of Swill cheese. Now a week of waiting for the results. Quote

Rockytime Posted October 12, 2016 Report Posted October 12, 2016 Best of luck to you. I survived prostate cancer with surgery. Getting old is no picnic. I survived the cancer, quadruple bypass, retinopathy, neuropathy, Diabetes, two replacement knees. 2 stints, 2 TIAs, gall bladder surgery, congenital heart and kidney disease in its early form and numerous other things. My doctor says I am the most unhealthy patient he has. I ask him, "so why do I feel so good?" I have been blessed. I will be 78 in November, still work repairing clocks full time, have time to ride my CanAm, turn, scroll and spend time with my family. I am not trying to brag but at my age talking about my ailments with my old buddies I guess is what we do. So my recommendation, if possible do good to others and keep thanking the good Lord for everything you have and are. danny, Sparkey, Phantom Scroller and 4 others 7 Quote

Lucky2 Posted October 13, 2016 Report Posted October 13, 2016 Kepy, biopsies are a good thing, they help get the proper diagnosis. They aren't pleasant, but, they are a necessary evil. Len Quote
