This pattern was designed by Michael Kelly, and published in the spring/summer 2016 Scrollsaw Woodworking magazine.

Though it was designed for a different reason, I had to make it for two reasons.

1) I am a clown and HAD to make it.

2) With the bad publicity that clowns have had for the past few months, it truly has made quite a few of us clowns tear up. A lot of my clowns friends have lost a gigs because of the morons that posed as I don't know what, but they certainly aren't clowns.

So.... Here It is, Two Faces of a Clown. I hope you all like it.

My apologies for getting on the soapbox.

Beautiful job on the clowns Gonzo.  You did a great job with the cutting.  I recall seeing that pattern in the magazine and thinking it was a great pattern.  Hopefully the other "clowns" will give it up and leave the clowning to those like you and Lawson - doing it for the fun and entertainment rather than trying to scare others. Thanks for sharing your photo.  Like Dan - would love to see your Clown persona if you wish to show us here.

Well done, and I got to agree with you that clowns seem to be getting a bad rap. all the sudden.  Hate to see anyone get a bad rap for no reason.  Do think there are a lot of good clowns out there and they all

don't deserve the bad publicity.

Thank you all very much for the kind words. For both the "Two Faces", and the encouraging words about clowning. I really do appreciate it.

Someday I'll have to figure out how to get my picture under my name.

Gonzo.
