MTCowpoke22 Posted December 23, 2016 Report Posted December 23, 2016 First time I've tried this. Got a couple of knife kits out of Rockler to make Christmas gifts. Used some Russian Olive scraps to make the handles. Have to refine the process a little, but turned out alright. Finished with Waterlox. Lucky2, New Guy, amazingkevin and 1 other 4 Quote

Bandito Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Russian olive wood is something you don't see every day. I like it. Can be a very hard wood and comes in a wide range of colors. The knives look great. Quote
