Lucky2 Posted December 25, 2016 Report Posted December 25, 2016 (edited) Nice looking pens Dan, they should be good sellers for you. I make pens also, and sometimes on light colored wood blanks I'll use a permanent marker to color the turned blank. You can use whatever color you want, and you can use it before or after turning the blank. You should try it, you can get some beautifully colored pens. Len Edited December 25, 2016 by Lucky2 Quote
tonylumps Posted December 25, 2016 Report Posted December 25, 2016 Nice work Dan.I still can not believe how well these pens sell. The only projects I have done on my scroll saw the last 2 weeks were displays for the pens that I sell.Everybody tells me they are great gifts for people that are hard to buy for. I sometimes use food color to add some color. These are au natural! A guy I work with saw the one I use at work and mentioned a walnut pen would look cool. So that's where the walnut is going. The rest I'll offer for sale. Quote
