First pattern

Thought I would keep it simple for my first pattern using GIMP and the excellent tutorial by travis.

Would like comments,observations etc.

That looks really good. It depends on how big you end up cutting it. I'd look at thickening up a few of the bridges. But other than that, I think you're off to a pretty good start.
