I made this over the weekend and as I mentioned, I had to move the scroll saw into the house.  The pattern is by Jacob Fowler and found in SWWC issue #65.  I used 1/4" Walnut plywood and backed with 3/8" Baltic Birch plywood.  The blades were FD UR #2/0 and #3.  Ther is one coat of 50% BLO and two coats spray Shellac.  Comments welcome.

Wow, Gordie, you do have a lot to play with.  Mine go back to 2007, but I did buy the cd's from Fox Chapel.

Looks very nice Denny.  I like the walnut on the lighter backing.  Glad its warming up for us here in East TN.  Perhaps you can be back out in the shop later this week.  :)

The saw is already back in the garage.  Temps to be in the 60's over the weekend.  Back to scrolling in the garage.

Marge beat me to it. I was going to say the same thing because I don't wish to write all that over again, I am going to shorten it up and give you a shorter rendition that will keep you have ping to read the same thing over and over again so instead I will make a one word comment that says exactly the same thing. " ditto"

Sorry it is late and I was feeling a little silly

Nice job Denny! The Birch and walnut look great together. I always run the grain in the same direction...........usually length wise. By alternating it you gave it a different look. dave

Thanks Dave.  I ran the grain this way, because it would run parallel to the back of the buck.
