I have done a little with pallet wood and ended up with a small hand held metal detector to help me locate and nails, broken off staples etc. Thanks for sharing these with us. Yeah, i make up 2 same size "wooden canvases" and stain one with a light stain and one with a darker stain which makes a nice contrast and usually flip the bottom one 90 degrees. Cant really see it on the photos i posted. This is a Wales flag i did to show what i mean.
