EarltheScroller Posted August 16, 2017 Report Posted August 16, 2017 (edited) I love Cheddar. It's one of my many addictions. Or do you mean Velveeta? I sort of agree with you on that. Or maybe you opened the package at the wrapping instead of the cheese? Edited August 16, 2017 by EarltheScroller WayneMahler 1 Quote

I like the way you think, but with a few things on the store shelf, the wrapping is the best tasting part! Quote

A spray can and some ritz crackers was a great meal. Tried it a couple of years ago and they must have changed the formula because it was a lot less cheese-tasting, and a lot more whiz. I tried a couple crackers and threw the can out. amazingkevin 1 Quote

scrollin'fool Posted August 18, 2017 Report Posted August 18, 2017 they add oils nowadays to most commercial cheeses. in the good old days it was just milk and cultures. I cant eat cheese anymore, because of wicked lactose intolerance. I sure do miss a good sharp cheddar now and then. I remeber brie was my favorite. oh well, my body is not adjusting to middle age as I had hoped Quote

Dan Posted August 20, 2017 Report Posted August 20, 2017 There are some vegan cheeses (well, cheese substitutes) that are supposed to taste good. Never tried them though. Quote

You know what else is vegan? Dirt. Rocks. Tree bark, motor oil and most industrial waste. Well, I've never tried vegan cheese, but I did eat a few mud pies as a kid. And as an adult I ate a lot of Army chow that I'm pretty sure started life as industrial waste. It did not taste good. Now I'm older and down to just a few remaining taste buds, so I probably won't be giving vegan cheese a taste test any time soon. bobscroll 1 Quote
