Something is really strange about your pictures.. unless this wasn't done recently.. Where is the snow?

Having winter without snow is like eating cereal without milk :)

Winter without snow is the way it should be... beach living is meant to be enjoyed year round.  ;-)

It is a fun toy.  It's pretty much a beginner model as far as being able to fly it easily.  I've been impressed with the quality of the camera.  I still have some tinkering to do.  Those were literally my first flight photos.

Happy belated birthday Scott.  Enjoy the new toy BUT don't let it keep you out of the shop - especially with these unseasonably warm weather this week. ;)  I keep thinking about getting one of these for my hubby - haven't pulled the trigger yet.  One reason is that we are not that far from the Knoxville airport and planes do fly near here sometimes.  that adds in the other issue of registering with the FAA as I am pretty sure we are within the mileage zone that would be required. What one did you get?  Keep us updated on how you like it.

It is fun!  I am starting with a "beginner" version, see link below.  It's below the weight requirement for having to register with the FAA, but I don't know the airport rules since I'm not near one.  Although this one says it isn't great in windy conditions, I think I'm going to take it down to the beach and give it a try today as it's not windy.

Thanks for sharing that info. Iggy.  Will check it out.  It's definitely windy here today - both yesterday and today but I'll take 70+ weather in middle/late February so no complaints! Enjoy your day.

I think the drones look fun.  However, I have privacy concerns about them flying over my house.  It is a technological marvel with the ability to be invasive.

Just be sure to bury the bodies in your backyard at night so the drones can't see you.  :-)
