A NEW pattern by Kathy Wise, available only to members of her Pattern Club.  I believe that I am the first to ever complete this one. She sent it out to club members Saturday, and I started on it Sunday Morning.  Its made with basswood, Honey Locust, Oak, Peruvian Walnut, and Poplar.  88 Pieces,  11 x 16 inches

146 Sea Horse Pair (1).jpg

Only you could pull this off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice work Lee.  It is beautiful.  I decide not to do the club for now.  I have too many patterns purchased already that I need to do anyway before adding to my collection and since she didn't guarantee that they would NEVER be available to the public later (looks like she is promising for a year), I figured if I ever saw one I really really wanted - I would wait until they were available in a year. ;) I've done the "club" think before and was not happy - for one - one of them said NEVER available and then within a year - they were.

Nice work Lee, I'm still working on mine. What I like about that pattern group is the idea that only a few people have access to the pattern even if it is for 1 year. a good advantage when doing some of the shows. I would be the only one in the area that has that pattern.

That makes good sense Brian if you do shows and sell your work like you and some others do.  That is something that I hadn't thought of in that regard to the club. For me, since its just a hobby right now and I don't do shows or sell and have too many patterns stockpiled now - I figured for me it didn't make sense if I could eventually get access to any I did like. At my pace of late - I probably wouldn't get to any of them for more than a year anyway! ;)  I do like seeing what they are and what is being done with them though so I am glad you all are sharing them as you do them.
