I would think if they were permanently closing the site, they would put in on their home page in big bold letters. Check your browser - you may have a redirect virus or if you are using Chrome, G has decided that sites with a security certificate are not safe and will not allow them to show up in search results or will issue a warning or other ridiculous alternative they come up with.
