Hi Brian - its good to see you back and working with wood and posting.  As Rob said, you have been missed. I know the blow of losing your beloved Ruth was very difficult for you and you have to work through the grieving process.  I pray that you continue to do so and find comfort and solace here with your wood loving friends.

That Barn Owl is beautiful.  Thanks for sharing it.  I look forward to seeing more of your work soon.

One thing you certainly do not do and that is butcher wood, you bring it to life.  So glad you are back at it again, we have missed you.  The owl is absolutely perfect, you did a fabulous job, you have not lost any of your know how.

So sorry for  you loss. Loosing ones mate has got to be unbearable. As we age, we know that this time is coming for one of us. I am glad to be able to say that  I am not able to fully understand the long loneliness of this kind of loss. My wife will be celebrating her 75th birthday on Monday and I am so thankful we both still have each other after all these wonderful and sometimes difficult years.  I am sorry I did not hear about this hard loss for you until now. I have been away from the computer and this wonderful world wide family for most of the year since we moved to Arizona. I am glad to see that you are back into the shop and trying to find a normal spot in your life. I will think about you and wonder how things are going for you as I  go through my life in the near future. This is so sad.

Nice owl you have here. It must help to have had this project to help you get through your days. Keep up the great work and always remember your loving world wide family you have here in The Village
