This jellis i used to be on here a lot but i had to back to work full time and so i couldn't be on.  We have a 10 year old grandson who is Autistic and non-verbal and we keep almost all the time.  His Mom, our daughter, and his Dad live in our basement but they both work odd hours and that is why he stays with.  We get uo in the morning I fix his breakfast and dress him and his Nana takes him to school and picks him up every day.  I retired again in July and am getting back into scrolling and loving every minute of it. I still have not learned how to make patterns so if some of you guys and gals don't mind i would like to send you some pictures of the things I need now.

Thank you so much,

Joe ellis

Hi Joe and welcome back. I am sure your daughter and her husband appreciate All you do for them and your grandson. Glad you are finding time to work with your Saw. There is a subforum here in the Villagecalled “Pattern Requests” specifically for making pattern requests. Most folks who help out there only ask for a thanks and a photo of your finished piece. You can find it here:https://www.scrollsawvillage.com/forums/forum/30-pattern-requests/

Also check out the pattern library here for lots of free patterns. It can be found here: https://www.scrollsawvillage.com/gallery/category/2-pattern-library/

Then there is the “Resources “ section of the Village with different resources including one with links to other pattern designers sites. It can be found here: https://www.scrollsawvillage.com/pattern-shops/ some of those provide free patterns and ones for sale.

Also, you might check out Steve Good’s blog if you aren’t familiar already with it. He posts a free pattern almost everyday and has done so for years so lots to choose from there too. His blog is here: http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/ and his searchable pattern catalog can be found here: https://www.stevedgood.com/catalog/index.php
