Usa map puzzle

I made Korea map puzzle long time ago

and second map I have wanted to draw a big map as Usa 

actually I have done  3states

but not much impormations 

If you know about what is special animals or mascot for 50 states 

please tell me some~~~

I just finished WA,OR and ID

Florida could be an alligator or manatee or flamingo.

Cardinal is the state bird for NC. State plant unofficially is tobacco, as it is the main cash crop for the state. Pork is also a big moneymaker for NC.

I looked briefly at that site and I can see it could be very confusing for folks from another country. Every state has a state bird, tree, flag and so forth.  Some have gone so far as to name state foods, state rocks and all sort of things that would confuse. This is usually done for a special interest group--such as the naming of a state lizard--for instance.  School children begin a campaign to recognize something and then the state(s) work with the groups.

Any of the Americans here would be more than happy to help you figure out what you are looking for.

I am going to do a US map in the spring and already I know what a task it will be--so I appreciate your efforts so far. (I am not doing symbols, just going to do the state outlines from various woods)

I always looking for interesting stories for puzzle 

I put animals in the wooden puzzle I hope there is many animals for 50 states

it is quite random to put animals in the map 

but if I know the impormation about each state it will be great 

I allready done 5states and I don't know  how long does it take to finish

just having fun to draw with knowing 50 states

NC's eastern border is the Atlantic Ocean. An area off of the coast, near the Outer Banks, is known as "the graveyard of the Atlantic" with more than 5,000 known shipwrecks.

NC's western border is the Appalachian Mountains. NC has the tallest peak east of the Mississippi in Mt. Mitchell at 6684 feet in elevation. NC is also the location of the largest private residence in America, the Biltmore House, with 255 rooms.
